Ironwood Kitchen & Bar is a vibrant restaurant tucked into a suburb of London, Ontario.
Specializing in a menu of local ingredients, the kitchen produces small and large
plates which pairs well with their assortment of quality cocktails, beer, wine and cider.
THE BRIEF
In need of an identity for their new restaurant, Ironwood Kitchen & Bar approached The Blondes to craft a new, unique brand. They wanted the logo to exemplify the restaurant's warm, inviting atmosphere, where customers from all walks of life, can come together and enjoy delicious food and refreshing drinks.
THE APPROACH
Our goal was to create a modern brand with a rustic twist and sophisticated simplicity. We drew from the meaning of "Ironwood" - a hardy tree - to design a memorable icon. This symbol is a stylized tree , complete with abstract representations of kitchenware and glassware to emphasize the restaurant theme. Furthermore, we created a woven pattern and accompanying icons to give the brand strength and versatility.
THE RESULT
Our new logo and brand elements have endowed the restaurant with a modern,
sophisticated identity that entices customers to come and experience the unique
atmosphere, as well as the delicious food and drinks.
