For Smitty’s Furniture, we crafted a brand refresh that strikes a thoughtful balance between polished professionalism and an approachable, relatable identity. The goal was to subtly modernize the existing brand while preserving the recognition and equity built over years with loyal customers. This approach ensures brand continuity while giving Smitty’s room to evolve and connect with a broader audience.

The updated visual identity clearly reflects Smitty’s service-first mentality, emphasizing simplicity, seamless customer experiences, and a positive brand personality. The iconic red colour remains a central element of the logo, maintaining a strong connection to the company’s heritage while also symbolizing Canada’s national colours. This anchoring helps reinforce the brand’s authenticity and long-standing presence in the market.

In addition to the logo refresh, we developed a comprehensive brand style guide to provide clear standards for consistent application across all channels and touchpoints. Social media tile templates were designed to support ongoing digital engagement, ensuring brand recognition on platforms where customers interact. We also created impactful billboard designs to boost local visibility and promote key campaigns effectively.
