Small Flock Ontario, a program initiated by the Poultry Industry Council, serves as a comprehensive learning hub tailored for small flock owners, hobby farmers, and non-supply managed flock owners. This one-stop resource provides extensive and credible information covering topics such as biosecurity, bird welfare, and educational resources for both birds and their owners.
THE BRIEF
The main objective of the campaign was to provide comprehensive and trustworthy resources to small flock owners in both rural and urban areas. The materials needed to be designed to be visually engaging, ensuring that information is easily digestible and retained, ultimately promoting better practices within the industry.
THE APPROACH
The Blondes developed an informative and visually engaging campaign that spanned many platforms. Marketing collateral included development of a logo and visual identity, a website design, a series of five animated social media posts, an infographic poster, a postcard, magnets and notepads and three booklets highlighting various tools and practices to assist small flock owners. The combination of photography, illustration and a bright colour palette ensured a stimulating experience for the target audience that not only highlighted specific messages, but was also easy to navigate and locate key information.
THE RESULT
The overall result was a memorable and informative campaign that is not only relevant now, but will also be referred to in the future. The client was thrilled with the end result and shared that they have received very positive feedback.
