The Oshawa Senior Community Centres have been helping adults aged fifty-five plus improve their quality of life through excellence in programs and services since 1968.
THE BRIEF
OSCC 55+ has enjoyed fifty years as a successful not-for-profit organization within the Oshawa area, but recognized that change is necessary to keep growing and evolving. An updated brand that would better reflect their values and the high level of programming and services they offer to the 55+ community was crucial.
THE APPROACH
Through a series of surveys and focus group testing, it was determined that OSCC needed to undergo a name update, incorporate a strong tagline, and introduce a fresh, new visual brand identity to better define the organization’s objectives. Along with establishing a new brand identity and guidelines, marketing materials and a 2-year marketing and communications plan that defined tactics and timing was developed to ensure success moving forward.
THE RESULT
OSCC 55+ is enthusiastic and proud of their vibrant new brand and are continuing their efforts to grow memberships and awareness within the community with the tools they have been given.
